Searching ALL subfolders in Outlook from the toolbar

I have MANY folders that I use in my Outlook. I keep myself organized by
saving all emails and referring back to them when needed. Prior to my laptop
crashing I was somehow able to access a search from my toolbar that allowed
me to search all folders (unlike the one available now that claims to search
all folders but don't search those older emails saved in folders at the
bottom). I would simply type in a keyword and the tool would search ALL
folders and pull those with the suggested keywords.

I am not referring to the "normal" search which prompts you to choose which
folder or even "all mail folders" (since this don't pull those old ones- not
in pst files but rather living at the bottom of my left pane). I am also not
referring to the "create a search folder" feature that is now included on my
toolbar. I'm looking to get the old search back. It seems NO ONE that I talk
to knows what I'm talking about. It's driving me NUTS! Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Dawn
