I am trying to take advantage of the Visio Search Shapes facility.
I will be maintaining a large library of custom shapes and I need to be
able to search them. I added keywords to the shapes using Edit
Master/Master Properties and also turned on indexing service on my
local shapes. However, the search still does not return any results (it
does work for Visia standard & web shapes).
I also noticed that even though I select the "Yes, enable indexing
service" radio button for "Visio Local Shapes", when I click
"Properties" agian, the other radio button is still selected ("No, do
not enable indexing service"). I though this might be because my NT
service "Indexing Service" might not be running but I checked and it
is.
Any ideas?
