Hi. I have a laptop with WinXP running OfficeXP. A few months ago we had an
Exchange 5.5 server called "Lemon". The Lemon server is out of commission
and now we have the "Peach" Exchange server. When I start Outlook on this
laptop, Outlook freezes a while looking for the Lemon server. After a few
minutes email comes through normally via the Peach server. Any ideas on what
could be causing this? I have read KB articles regarding issues similar to
this, but I could not find any KB articles that deal with Outlook polling a
non existent Exchange server. Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks - HK
