searching for phone number in contacts

confused

trying to match a phone number with contact. I type in a phone number that I
know is contained in my contact list but "search" finds nothing.

Hi, Confused, try Advanced Find (Control Shift F) and enter the phone number
in the "search for words" line; just below that, change the "IN" line to read
"phone number fields only".
