Searching in a form for data

I haven't seen anything on here yet that ask if there is a way to search a
form and bring up the information on that same form. I am working on a form
at work that displays employee information with a picture. I need to make
this form more user friendly and have been asked to add a way to search using
the name of the employee and have it come up on the same form. I don't
really have the experience or know how to start looking in the right places.
Is there any on e out there that can help?
