Searching the Tab??

I have just realised that my searches do not return any sections that
contain what I am searching for.

Any way to do that?

I can confirm what you've found. The section tab titles are not
searchable.

As a workaround, you could use Windows Search to find section titles
(since the OneNote sections correspond to file names in Explorer), or you
could create a page in each section with the section's title in the
contents.
