I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but is MDAC 2.8 compatible with
W2000 Pro?

Thanks Craig

Thanks for the laugh guys (not), I'm a subscriber to Technet not that it's
any of your business but I was
expecting a reply from them not a couple of yahoos!

Craig,

All you need to do is head to the nearest mirror to see who the true yahoo is here. It's you.
You received a perfectly good answer to your question, yet showed the gratitude of a horse's ass!

And boy, that original answer was a good one! Thanks for the laugh,
Gunny.

Gunny gave you the answer you asked for, along with a friendly and (I
thought) amusing lesson in asking questions that are more likely to be
answered. I'm sorry you don't see the humor. You should be aware that
these newsgroups are primarily peer-supported, and by far the majority
of questions are answered by non-Microsoft people who share their
knowledge out of a sense of community and fellowship. Gunny ('69
Camaro) is one of the most knowledgeable people active in this
newsgroup, far more expert in Access than your average MS tech support
individual (no offence to them).

Hi, Craig.
I'm a subscriber to Technet not that it's any of your business but I was
expecting a reply from them not a couple of yahoos!

We make it our business, and you _did_ get a reliable reply from "them." As
a matter of fact, you've had quite a few reliable replies to your questions,
even when you didn't like the first answer to your question and reposted the
identical question the following week with a different subject so that more
experts could spend time explaining the same concepts to you _again_.

Many experts who are far more experienced than I am read your question in
your previous post and could have answered it -- but didn't -- because your
question was not clear. Everyone I've met from the Toledo area has a great
sense of humor, so I figured that you'd prefer a reminder -- with a bit of
humor included -- that you should ensure your question is clearly stated,
instead of the drab statement, "Be clear and concise." Humor also helps us
remember information for longer periods, so you can be sure that the experts
who answer questions in this forum will remember the name Craig Pfaff -- as
well as DV (experts aren't going to forget her any time soon!) -- and reply
appropriately.

And remember, satisfaction with our answers here is guaranteed or we'll
refund double the amount you paid us -- unless you've abused the tech
support staff. Calling people names is impolite and automatically makes one
ineligible for the refund. But even if the amount came out of my paycheck,
I'm sure everyone reading this thread will agree that it was worth the
laughs! ;-)

Thanks!

Gunny

Hi, Dirk.

I'm floored. Most of the people answering questions here have many more
years of experience developing applications in Access than I do.
