second request: suppress clipboard prompt

C

Cheryl Larson

Hello. I have a macro that does a number of things, but its main
function is to copy a record, close the record, then create a new record
with the copied date. This is working fine except that when it goes to
close the copied record, Access displays a pop up box warning that a
large amount of data has been copied to the clipboard and do I want to
save that data to the clipboard? (Yes/No) Obviously I wish to preserve
the clipboard since we are trying to copy the record. How do I supress
this pop up box?

Thanks very much for any assistance.

Not sure if you can suppress that warning/question dialog box. But, let's
see if we can provide you a better way of doing what you want so that this
message doesn't show at all. Can you tell us more about what you're doing
and what you need to accomplish?
