section 508 & colors

Does anyone know if there is a chart of 508 compliant colors?

All I'm finding are suggestions such as "make color contrast distinct". Is
it really that simple? I'm was assuming I should be avoiding some colors and
maximizing use of other colors.

Hi,


Should be preferable to use the system color, so that corresponds to those
selected by the end user. Someone can use an explicit indication (like a
check mark, a small icon, etc) rather than somehow color code the
information: not only it is more evident, it also minimize the training
required to use the application.
