Section numbering

Brian

In a single Word 2002 (SP-1) document I have multiple
sections. Each first page has a differnet header than the
remaining pages in that section. Currently each first page
is appearing as Page 0 (zero). All pages number correctly
during a PRINT but the Table of Contents is pulling the
zero off of each first section page. I've tried all the
usual solution (i.e. setting the Start at .... page
number) but to no avail. Also the auto counter at the
bottom of the Word document window shows 'Page 0' next to
the Section counter and the specific page/total pages
counter. Any solutions?

Brian,

I did some snoooping around. Do you have any graphics in
the headers or footers with text wrapping? If so, try
formatting the graphic as in line with text.

Thanks Greg, your solution worked though it eliminates
some of the functionality of floating graphics. Any idea
why the graphics need to be set to 'in line with text'?

They don't have to be inline; they just have to be anchored to a paragraph
outside the table.
