Section tabs in notebook view Word 2004 vs Word 2008

In Word 2004 I created alphabetical section tabs on a document I use
every day. Word sized the section tabs so that most of the alphabet
was in view at all times. Now in Word 2008 the section tabs remain a
constant size no matter how short the label is. Is there a work
around for this situation. It is really inconvenient to have to
scroll repeatedly through the alphabet.

Don't feel too bad - I can't find a way to make the tabs any smaller,
either, and there's no reference to it in Help :) I believe that was
behavior was removed in the 2008 version. The tabs still *expand* based on
volume, but they don't shrink below the default size.

Thanks Bob! That really makes me sad. I guess there is no way to get
in there and change that default size :) !
