Sections and Forms - How Do I?

T

Tracy

I am trying to create a form where the top portion is locked but the bottom is free form. I have been putting a table on the top of the page with user fields and combo boxes, inserting a continuous section break and then having the bottom of the page be where the user can type whatever they want. But every time I lock the form, I can't get to the second half of the page.

Help please!

Instead of clicking the padlock on the Forms toolbar, go to Tools => Protect
Document...
When you choose Forms, there'll be a button for marking sections.

You can't use the padlock on the Forms toolbar the first time. You have to
go to Tools | Protect Document, select Forms, then select the section(s) to
be protected. After that I believe you can use the toolbar button to toggle
this protection off and on.

I am having the same problem!!!
Please email me at [email protected] if you find an
answer! I am attempting to lock a form protecting certain
sections but leaving others unprotected since they contain
linked text boxes which must be able to be accessed by the
user. I cannot get to them even though I have inserted
continuous section breaks and left these sections
unprotected. Hope someone can help us both!!
