Securing a powerpoint 2008 file

How do I lock changes or secure a ppt file in 2008 so others cannot make changes?

There is no protection scheme in Mac PPt. If you want it to only be viewed
use the Save As options to create something other than a.ppt/.pptx file. See
PPt Help on File Formats for details.

Send a PDF instead.

And you'd need Acrobat to add protection to it.
