Security and web pages and pages on my own computer.

I was working with some script to show a calendar.
I could go on the web to the site and see the example.
I down loaded the example
I made a new htm page and added the script
when I open the page on my own computer the page is blocked by the explorer
security.
I can click on the information bar and let it have permission to run and it
comes up ok.
What can I do to get my system to let this page come up
It lets the one from the internet come up but not mine.
I can to added the page to trusted sites (or at least I have not figured out
how to do it)
