I had a database with Access's security features enabled. The "security"
file was damaged and in fact deleted.

Is there any way to get into the database?

Get the Microsoft Access 2000 Security FAQ:

There are some settings that you write down and keep in a safe place when you
create a .mdw file which will allow it to be recreated.

If this wasn't done (and I suspect it wasn't if you aren't EXTREMELY careful
and lucky) then you will need to get one of the numerous database security
cracks from the internet. Check the security references on
http://www.mvps.org/access.
