Fabian

Hi..

I've installed Project Server 2003 for 35 persons, and 5 persons with
Project Professional (PM).

For all resources of work in Project, was definied a standard rate (cost=
[[salary/30d]/8h]).

When one persons of this 5 PM, entry way Project Professional, theys are
capable to view all information of any of 35 persons. Exists some way to
restringed the views of some cost fields en Project Professional?.

I don't want that any persons that have installed Project Profesisonal can
see all information of cost, of all work resources.

Fabian --

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project application only. To answer your question, no, there
is no way to hide Standard Rate information from users of Microsoft Project
Professional. Thus, it is a mistake to put actual salary information in the
Standard Rate field. Instead, we recommend that you use "blended" or
average rates across teams, departments, or across your entire organization.
Hope this helps.
