Security Model does not support Portfolio Analyzer

Hi there

If you apply a security model to a group allowing certain users to view
certain relevant projects on the Project Centre, Resource Centre and certain
Portfolio Analyzing views, these users can view all projects on the
Portfolio Analyzer, and not the selected projects as indicated on the
applicable category... Do you experience the exact same scenario? I have a
work around, although this is high maintenance, and human errors might
occur, thus revealing sensitive information to some users.

For better or worse, Microsoft's assumption is that the Portfolio Analyzer
is used by people who need to see the entire portfolio of projects and
resources. Therefore, the security permissions for the Project Center and
Resource Center do not apply to the Portfolio Analyzer views. At best, you
can manually control the projects and/or resources visible when you create a
Portfolio Analyzer view, but users can override your selections manually.
Hope this helps.
