Security Patches & Hotfix Installer

I responded to today's (9/03) email "Security Alert" and
downloaded the recommended patches (5 in all). I got an
error report "Office Hotfix Installer Encountered a
Problem". It "appears" that I have the downloaded files
but they won't install. When I try to re-download I get
the indication that I have the files, and must simply
install. The same error report comes up! In the details I
get an error # 234, and additional information I can
supply if needed. Thanks for any help!!!
