HI...

I had set security & password for my access forms, queries etc.,.Now, I need
to remove the security. I tried to remove that. But, I couldn't..

The following errors shows often..

Run-time-error '-2147467259 (80004005)';
The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'GOVIND'
that prevents it from being opened or locked.

Can anybody pls solve this problem..?

Thnx in advance..

Hi,

Pleasant morning to you.

Actually, i dont remember how i set security. But, I am sure that it is from
TOOLS-->Security menu and sub menu might be from "User-Level Security
wizard".

So,Please suggest me to disable this security as it is coming for new
project / file also. And, this problem arise each & everytime when i do any
changes in the form /coding.

It is showing a lock symbol in "User and Group permissions".

Thnx..in advance..

If you are using a custom workgroup then...

You need to put back full permissions on all objects (tables, queries,
reports, etc) to the admin account. Then, at the end, remove the password of
the admin account.

Make sure you change the owner of all objects back to the admin account,
including the database object.

Hopefully you still have access to the account that secured the database to
begin with. use this account to transfer permissions back to the admin
account.
