security settings

They just installed Outlook 2003 SP1 in my laptop recently. I am having quite
a few issues.

1. Every new message or reply window i open has this error : your current
security settings prevent Active X controls to run on this page. As a result
this page may not display correctly. Never had this in the earlier version
and i don't think anything was changed in the recent update.

2. In the signature field, there is a weird html box ( like an unopened
image ) above my name. I have manually select and delete this when i send any
email. This is not there in the actual signature I am using.

my message format is selected as html format.

You might want to look at the raw .htm file for your signature in the
Signatures folder. My guess is that it might have an Office SmartTag
embedded in it

I am having the same issue. How do you get to this raw .htm file to modify.
I now have selected 'none' as the default signature, but the embedded image
is still occurring in all my emails? I HATE those SmartTags. Thanks for your
help.
