the apps bundled under microsoft office in my programs menu do the same
thing--ask for a product key--but the programs that are listed individually
do you have other office apps installed and do they work?

with the exception of outlook which has the aforementioned problem.

If you can start Word, click Help>About. The product ket displayed there
should be the same for all Office products installed from the same kit.

the product id shown under the help menu in my other office apps is only 20
digits long and does not include letters. they match from word to excel,
etc., but do not match the key that office outlook is requiring.
