Hi,
I have been struggling for the last month with an issue in outlook.
The Issue: Clicking on a URL in an e-mail opened a IE browser with the home
page rather then the link in the e-mail.
Today I removed the whole Office suite and re-installed it and viola, it
worked again.
I applied the following 4 Office security fixes and it was broken again:
Office 2003 Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)
Office 2003 Security Update for Office 2003 (KB945185)
Office 2003 Visio 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3)
Office 2003 Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3)
I can't take any of these off so I have to redo the whole install etc.
I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this too and what causes it it.
It is clearly NOT an issue with outlook itself.
Help is much appriciated as I have now spend weeks looking for an fix.
