See non working time for all enterprise resources at once

We plan to set nonworking time in individual resource calendars to capture
time off like vacations. No problem, except...
We would also like to be able to pull up a consolidated view of all
nonworking time across all resources. This would make it easy to answer
questions such as: who's taking vacation during the 3rd week in January?
The consolidated view could be a view, a report, a calendar ... whatever.
Anybody know how to do this straightforwardly? We'll even consider running
a query off the Project Server database.

If you really need to do the kind of reporting you indicate to track
nonworking time, then you should probably use an administrative project for
this purpose. However, please note that if you use an admin project for
this purpose, Project Server will not automatically reschedule tasks based
on a resource's nonworking time. Hope this helps.

Thank you. My client is currently using an admin project for this purpose,
but we're looking to tap into the automatic rescheduling feature of setting
non-working time.
I am curious about how Project stores the nonworking flag by day by resource
in its database because I fear (!) a custom report may be our best bet.
Thanks again.

I sympathize with you. Most clients want both capabilities with nonworking
time: to automatically reschedule work and to be able to track the total
amount of nonworking time for reporting purposes. Unfortunately, it's one
or the other, but not both. Thanks for your comments. :)
