See the transcripts while using >> in MS-DOS?

Hi, there:

I am using MS-DOS to run some of my technical software. I need to use the >>
to save the transcript
into a file, but I can't see it any more on DOS's window...I need to see the
transcript to check the progress
of my software.

How may I do with this situation?
