Seeing gif file on my computer

I am having trouble when I insert a gif file onto my idex
page and upload it to my site I can not see it on my
computer. It is there as I can see it on my laptop and
everyone else can see it but for some reason I can not.

I have refreshed the page, checked the cache, checked the
multimedia tools etc.

Can anyone help.
