Seeking best way to move mail from IMAP to Entourage

Our company (about 9,000) will be switching from IMAP-based e-mail (primary
client Mulberry) to Exchange. The Mac users (about 4,000) want to know the
best way to archive their IMAP mail for later conversion to Entourage.
Can anyone give us a process.

Thanks

The easiest way is to drag messages out to the desktop as .eml files,
or drag entire folders out onto the desktop as MBOX files (careful
though - I'm not sure folder dragging supports sub-folders).

You can easily test the file you exported by dragging it back into an
empty folder in Entourage.

There are other ways as well - read this page for more info and ask
questions here if needed:

There is also Microsoft's mail migration tool that ships with Exchange 2003.

We used it here on about 1500 users, about 900 which were Mac folks.

Since they are IMAP accounts, you just provide the tool a .csv file to work
from and it does all the heavy lifting.

Cheers!

It doesn't get subfolders. You can use a script by Barry Wainwright called
Export Folders that gets all folders and subfolders.

For MBOX files: Run this script on your messages: Export folders (this gets
subfolders too). The script will fail on a folder with corruption.
