select query gives answer in "pivot table" view?

Hi! I have a question about pivot table view. I created a form that has a
command button. Whenever i click that comman button, it goes off to run a
"select query" and it spits out the answer in the regular table form. How do
i make it to spit the answer out in a "pivot table" form? Is this possible
to do?

Thanks so much!

Check out "Use a wizard to create a PivotTable form" in the access help
files. I think this just what you are looking mfor.

Hi Rosco, thanks for replying!

I did try that, but instead of giving the answer in a pivot table form, it
came up line by line and I had to click to the "next record" to see all of
them. it's really weird. Is it because of the way i set it up? I had a
command button that does an "open form", and the form was created using that
pivot table wizard. am i doing it wrong?

Prilla,
I just tried a quick down and dirty pivot form and did not experience your
problem. I did have to resize some of the form controls to see the whole
table though. Also check you pivot table layout and options, and the form
options. Other than that, I am at a loss.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
