Selected hyperlink theme color not working

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

This used to work, of course. We've set the selected hyperlink color to black on a slide (unselected is yellow). However the color doesn't change when the link is selected anymore. It may not have worked ever in 2008 version.
