Selecting a remote database on BCM2007

D

David

Two PCs both on the same local network, both running XP SP2 and Outlook 2007
with BCM.

User1 created a BCM database on PC1, and shared it with user2 using the
share wizard. User2 can sign-in to PC1 (under own password), read own email
in outlook, and connect to the shared BCM database.

User2 then signs into local PC2 and tries to access BCM database on remote
PC1 (using the database tools wizard). Selects 'Select an existing
database', enters PC1's computer name and clicks 'connect'.

Error message appears - "Connection Not Completed" due to "...not been
granted access or wrong password..."

Clearly access has been granted because User2 can access the database when
on PC1, and the username and login details for User2 on PC1 are exactly the
same as on PC2.

Any clues for what I'm missing...?
