Selecting graphic objects

Hi all, I can't seem to select some of my graphic objects. Is there an
overview on how to do this that explains some of this myterious Word majic?

Are you using the Select Objects tool from the Drawing toolbar?

I have tried the select browse object at the bottom right and going to Edit

Go To. I also can't seem to select it by putting the cursor over it.

Does it have something to do with the format or maybe something in my
drawing options?

Select Browse Objects is on the vertical scroll bar, not the Drawing
toolbar. Display the Drawing toolbar. The Select Objects tool is the big
white arrow at the left end. Click on it, then click on your objects.
