I use OneNote on my laptop (not a tablet). I wanted to have a sort of simple
flow chart that consisted of 4 text items arranged in a circle and then inked
4 arrows flowing from one text item to the next, in a clockwise fashion.
Without the ink, it looks like this:
item 1
item 4 item 2
item 3
When I add text on the page above this flowchart, the text part of the
flowchart moves down as I enter text lines above, but the inked arrows don't
move with the text. Then I try to fix this by selecting the ink and manually
moving it into place within the text however I can't determine how to select
just the ink.
So, I have two questions:
1. Is there a better way to enter simple text and arrow type of diagrams so
that they appear as a unit (i.e. the text and ink are grouped)?
2. How do I select ink that is interspersed with text? The "Treat Ink as
Drawing" and "Treat Ink as Text" buttons on the "Drawing and Writing Tools"
toolbar are greyed out on my laptop. Could they help me somehow?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
