In the older version of PowerPoint, you could hold down "CONTROL" & click
anywhere inside a text box. The text box would be selected as a shape and
you could move it around easily.
It seems like this functionality has disappeared from PowerPoint 2007. You
have to click on the edge of the text box to select as a shape. Is there any
way around this? I'm moving hundreds of text boxes every day & it makes a
big difference!
Thanks,
Jo
PS: there's a similar issue with the new format painter. You used to be
able to hold down control and copy most of the formatting from one shape to
another.
