selection bar

How should I explain this??? Ok does anyone know how to
remove the selection bar from a new words document. I'm
talking about the 4 corner like a "L" in the document.

You might try Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office
(XP) Language Settings and disable East Asian Languages/
