Selection Criteria

Yes.

A simple example is to list in column A the values 1 to 100. Then in column
B make test values such as 1, 2, 3 in cells b1 ,b2, b3. Repeat those 1, 2, 3
values into b4, b5, b6 and continue the 1, 2, 3 set down column B to
correspond to the number of elements in column A. Finally in column C enter
the function "=IF(b1 = 1,a1,0)". This will result in column C with only
those column A values for those instances when the B column value is 1 and
zero otherwise. Column C can then be summed. Another column B criteria can
be specified in the IF function where b1 = 1

I imagine there is a more elegant solution but the above has the virtue of
being simple, quick, and valid.

Good luck!

Hi

I am trying to sum a column that is filtered, but only sum those values
where an adjacent column is a particular value. Is this possible?

Thanks
Ben
