selectively publishing task

Hi

Is there a way to select just the tasks I want to publish,
eg., i want to publish only tasks by a certain resource. I
tried the 'Republish Assignment' and specify 'Selected
items' but did not work, because once you have the entire
project published, republishing does not seem to exclude
the non-selected items. I have also tried just publishing
the 'Project Plan' ->'Summary only' first, then 'Republish
Assignment'->'Selected items', but did not work either.

Ben:

Select the tasks in the view first, then select Publish > Republish and
choose selected items in the dialog.
