Send a Link

I am confused by Outlooks apparent inability to send a link to a website
from within IE. If I am at a website (ie www.cnn.com), and I select "send a
link", the subject will be "emailing : www.cnn" and it does not send the
complete address. I have to then retype the whole address by hand into the
body of the email message, which basically defeats the purpose. Outlook
also tells me that it has blocked attachments and receivers of the e-mail
might not be able to view. I'm ready to ditch Outlook for the much easier
to use Outlook Express which simply did what I wanted it to do without me
having to fight with it.

Because secure versions of Outlook block shortcut files, I recommend that
you use a little free add-in for Internet Explorer when you want to send
someone a link to a page. You can get MailTo_URL from
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/gallery/index.htm#mailto. It adds an "Email
Page" command to the right-click menu in IE and uses the title of the page
for the subject of the mail message.

Make sure that the registry entry you create to tell IE where to find the
application matches the location where you save the program.
