In an earlier version of Outlook I was able to send distribution lists
(imported from Excel) to a client as pst files. The same steps I used before
are not working for Outlook 2003. Previous steps included highlighting the
Contacts folder, selecting File, Import and Export, Export to a File, Next,
Next (upon confirming correct file was highlighted), Browse, save to Desktop
as filename.pst, Finish, OK. The files were then sent as attachments. Upon
receipt, the client would save the files to the Desktop, then click File,
Open, Outlook Data File, select filename.pst, OK. The distribution lists
would be in the Personal Folder.) When I attempt to send as a pst file now,
there's nothing in the file. I also tried to drag the distribution list into
the email and the client still gets nothing. They are also using Outlook
2003. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
