Send and Receive Photos

More details, I can do that.
I am using XP Pro. I am using Microsoft Outlook as my default E-mail.

I will receive an E-mail that has .BMP photos and I can view it just fine, I
click Forward, add names to send to click send, they are received by the
people I send them to , however they do not see any photos.

I will do the same thing with .JPG's and all receive them just fine?

I can create a new E-mail, insert .BMP's and .JPG's the the only photos that
can be viewed are the .JPG's.

I'm think some where in set up or options ? must be a box to check that will
send these files? I hope you can come up with some good advice?

Thanks,

Cle

Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?
Do the bmp-files show as attachment in your Sent Items folder?
Do they show when you send a test message to yourself?
If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.

Hi Roady,
Let's see if I can answer your questions?
Version of Outlook? 2003 (11.8010.8107) SP2
Type of mail account? Don't understand this, but I think POP/SMTP with Cox?
Do the bmp-files show as attachment in your Sent Items folder? No They show the same as they did on the orig. E-mail.
Do they show when you send a test message to yourself? Yes, they show just fine.

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again. I use free AGV 7.2.

This continues to happen. I thought it would be a simple answer for the
experts?

Thanks,

Cle

Do you have a Hotmail account or so? Try sending a message with
bmp-attachments to that account and look at it via Hotmail. If you can view
it now, the issue is very likely not to be on your side but on the
receiver's side.

Additionally you could verify that you are sending in Plain Text or HTML
format and not in Rich Text.
