send as COMPATIBLE STANDARD message

I know Microsoft doesn't use standard markup language, but I've been banging
my head against the wall trying to figure out how to do an email marketing
campaign without buying a mac. I love the concept - open a publisher
template, fill in the blanks, send it to all of my customers using business
contact manager & track the results. In practice, when I open the email in
my hotmail account, all of that lovely publisher formatting looks awful and
oll of the pictures show up as attachments.
Does anyone have any ideas that will simplify this process?

If you're using Outlook you'd have to change all the image urls to absolute
and store the image files somewhere on the web. You may have better luck
with Outlook Express.

There's plenty of email marketing software around. Publisher does not
fall into that category. (I don't do email marketing, so have no idea
what's good and what's not.)

It seems to me that the old standby of creating your piece in Publisher,
"printing" it as a PDF using one of a number of free ware packages, and
sending the PDF as an attachment would work fine in this case.
