Send deleted message to the deleted file & NOT just cross it out

Currently, when I delete an email, Outlook crosses the email out and leaves
it in my inbox. How do I, instead, have the deleted email move to the deleted
folder? THANKS!!!

There's no way to do that for IMAP accounts in currently released versions of
Outlook. IMAP simply doesn't work that way. Outlook 2010 will allow you to
change the behavior, though, and provide Deleted Items folder handling.
