Send email from MS Office

I am unable to send email from MS Office 2007. My default mail is Windows Mail.
I also have a problem with MAPI compliance, don't know if they are linked.

Sending from Office requires a MAPI client - have you tried making another mail client your default and then changing back to Windows Mail?
