Send meeting updates to changed attendees only in Outlook 2003

When attendees are added to a meeting in Outlook 2003, it doesn't give you
the chance to 'notify changed attendees only' as it did older versions. By
not allowing notification of updated attendees only, everyone who already has
the meeting on their schedule gets another notification regardless of whether
they need to know. Is this just not an option in 2003?

In the Attendee Tracking tab of a meeting request, everyone's nam
appears. To the left of each name is an envelope icon. Click that icon
and you'll see two choices -- "Send meeting to this attendee" and "Don'
send meeting to this attendee." The default is "Send meeting." So, i
you don't want attendees to receive the meeting request, choose "Don'
send meeting”, an X will appear. Then chose “Send Update” button (eve
if you haven’t changed any of the meeting details). You will receive
prompt as shown in the next column and you should select “Send update
to all attendees”. The notice will not be sent to those with an “X” i
the envelope
