Depends on how many are in your address book. Most ISPs limit to 50 per
message. I believe Comcast has lowered that number. This is to help limit
spam.

Entourage has no limit. You should contact your mail provider to ascertain
the maximum number of recipients per message and note it. You can use the
free "Split Recipients" script to send a mass e-mail in separate mailings
automatically:

You also might want to consider creating a new sig with your new address
info. This would catch anyone that's not in your address book.

Split Recipients X allows you to send to a group whose option is "Don't show
addresses" and will send as BCC to all recipients. It will do the same if
you manually put addresses into the BCC field.
