Send my rebate! I would not have bought this program otherwise

I am very dissapointed in Microsoft. The program is over-priced and I was
promised a hefty $70 rebate, which I sent in over 2 months ago. There is no
recourse in this matter, it's not like I can return the software- but I
definitely would not have bought it without the rebate incentive. I have
searched for ways to contact the right people to seek resolution but I have
found nothing. Please help me or tell who I can contact to get my $70 bucks!!

Wrong place for this issue. You should have a copy of your rebate and
chances are there is a phone number you can call. Generally rebates are
handled by a clearing house, not the manufacturer. Those of us who "hang
out" in here are not Microsoft employees. We are volunteers who try to help
with issues with the program itself.

And to be honest, rebates generally take two months, sometimes more. I had a
Toshiba one recently that took about three months.

Pretty cool. I'm a fan of rebates but that wouldn't be the only reason I
bought a product. It might, however, influence *when* I make my purchase. A
rebate and a free card - that would make me pay attention. And if I ever
received a rebate that fast, you would hear my jaw thunk all the way to your
home. ;-)

I know that. :) You and I both share the belief "Use the right tool for
the job." It certainly pays off in the long run, doesn't it?

slightly ot.. Staples has the best rebate system...no paper - you do it all
online and you can track the progress.

I can't tell ya how many times I've missed rebates because I've forgotten to
fill out the coupons in time!
