Send photos to mail client doesn't work

Am trying to e-mail photos. Selecting a photograph, right clicking, sending
to mail recipient, and choosing file size all appear to work as normal, but
no blank e-mail form opens. I have done this successfully with earlier
versions of Office. Now using Outlook 2007 Basic and XP, and the procedure
appears to be identical. Anyone know how to fix this?
