send/receive button

My send/receive button dissapears, and f9 doesnt work I have tried to reinstall outlook, and I have tried to reposiotion the button in the add a button to a toolbar option, and Its not there either.at some piont could I have erased it?how do I get it back any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Try renaming your outcmd.dat file to outcmd.old while Outlook is closed.
Outlook will rebuild the default toolbars the next time you open it.

Note: If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden
and system folders to find the outcmd.dat file.
