Send/Receive button

I have a new computer and installed Win XP and Office XP
for Small Businesses. These are existing programs that
worked properly on my old computer. With my new
installation I put a Send/Receive button on the task bar
of Outlook 2002, which I also used on my old computer. I
have also downloaded all the service packs for Win XP and
Office.

On my new system the automatic send/receive works
properly but if I click the send/receive button for an
immediate send, nothing happens. The message will set in
my Outbox until the next scheduled automatic send/receive.
