Send/Receive error

T

Trey Hughes

When I "send/receive" i get the error "Operation failed.
An object was not found". It also generates a new .srs
file each time.

I created my e-mail account and successfully tested
using "test settings". I have also re-installed
and "detect and repair errors" more than once.

Help??

Hi Trey

What version of Outlook are we talking (has to be either 2002 or 2003
but it may make a difference) ? And it generates a new .srs file each
time.... hummm.... Normally with this error we'd get someone to just
rename the srs file, but if you are getting new ones each time this is kinda
pointless. Let's start with a new profile and see where that gets us. I'd
also try a new PST file with your normal account settings as a test (If it
does the same thing, you can move back to the old profile...). If you are
unsure of how to do this, see:
