I am using outlook 2003 with sp1 on winxp sp2
the machine is a dell lattitude d800 1.6Ghz with 1GB ram.
The problem is that my email won't send/receive; seemingly after i change
network connections between wired and wireless or vice versa. every time i
hit the send/receive button the tasks just add up and hang never actually
completing.
If i go into the account properties and run the account test all pop, smtp
and authentication tests pass without trouble.
often when the problem happens there is one or more messages in the outbox,
but if i tell it to only receive and not send the problem persists.
we use SSL to send but not receive mail.
Closing and restarting outlook will sovle the problem.
This was not always and issue. it started about a month ago, close to the
same time that SP2 was installed.
Any help is much appreciated!
