I've searched for this exact content and haven't found it listed here, so I
apologize if this is a topic you've solved before
.
When I create or reply to a message and hit send/receive, sometimes the
message goes immediately. Often however, the display first says 100%, but
the message is still processing. Then it times out, tries again, but drops
to 66%. Then 33%, etc..
The only way to send the message now is to reboot completely. But
invariably during the new session it will happen again.
This happens more often when replying to a message. It is unrelated to file
size, as I've created several test files that say only "test".
I'm running Outlook XP 2002 edition. This is occurring on a new HP
pavilion. We have broadband access through our cable company, and that has
been checked and is not the source of the problem.
We have more than one profile on outlook and this error occurs in both
profiles.
I've tried extending the time before timing out. No change. I have hunted
through every option setting but can think of nothing to change to fix this.
HELP!!
Thanks,
Al
